Community Based-Research

The Institute produces community based research on a number of topics and issues. The purpose is to call attention to trends and opportunities and provide foundation information to interested stakeholders. This portion of The Institute’s work is supported through contributions and pledges from individuals, businesses, and foundations.

The Institute has completed research in the following areas:

The Institute has also prepared policy statements and analysis on several issues. Finally, The Institute has produced a Quarterly Economic Tracker (formerly the Recession Tracker) that provides a brief summary of regional economic indicators.
