2023– The Institute conducted a needs assessment of the business community’s education and skill requirements for positions in the county, to fulfill a government requirement for programming, as a basis to develop an action plan.

2015- The Institute conducted an assessment of the education and training needs of parents, students, recent graduates, and business and industry in Wayne and Pike Counties along with existing resources and opportunities. The information was used to create a comprehensive plan for throughout the county. 

2014- The Institute completed a market study which determined the needs and interests of Wayne and Pike County residents and businesses with regard to post-secondary education and training programs.

2012– The Institute developed a curriculum program tied to the region’s economic development plan to meet business attraction industry goals as well as retained and expanded industries to meet the workforce needs of both constituencies.

2012– The Institute conducted a study which identified potential impacts in Wayne & Pike County as a result of the formation of a CTC. Impacts could include positive changes in economic, educational, innovation and social indicators, regional competitive advantages through broader economic and workforce development; and both a one time (construction) and ongoing (operations) increased economic impact to the region.

2009– The Institute conducted a market study to identify whether or not a Career and Technology Center would flourish in Wayne and Pike Counties for secondary, post secondary education. Multiple surveys and interviews were used for the analysis and recommendation.
