May 2025: The Institute assessed the state of housing in Lackawanna and Monroe Counties. This included a comparison of socio-economic data over the past 20 years coupled with housing stock, rental market, prices, and new development, identification of areas for growth in housing by type, price points, and areas within the counties. This includes both senior and accessible housing needs. Subregions or large communities will also be studies as they are related to business centers and transportation corridors.  This included an analysis of existing commuting patterns.
